Lovely vintage quilt! This piece, along with several others, was purchased from the estate of a lady who was a quilter and collector. The notes on this quilt read: "Sun Bonnet Sue 62" x 80" with yellow and green sashing and muslin background and backing. This was purchased in 2012, at an antique store in Kerrville, TX, while at the Rio Grande Valley Quilt Guild Retreat. It was purchased from Tami Harrell and was made by her Great Grandmother Francis Solis Rose whose birthdate was in 1896. She passed away in 1978 at the age of 82. Some of the Ribbons have disappeared from the bonnets. It was all hand pieced and hand quilted."
